Pussy..
.. so yeah, right in front of my house is a sewer drain (you know, built into the curb with a manhole cover on top), and ever since I moved in there have been these wild cats living in there.. they wander around at night, tearing up garbage, and are just pests.. also, wild cats are commonly disease ridden beasts who can infect household pets as well as humans.. now I know I'm gonna look/sound like an asshole for this, but fuck it.. why can't these animals be legally eradicated as a rat or mouse could be? they're no one's pet & serve no purpose.. and there's nothing Animal Control can do about it, in TX they cannot legally pick up cats.. so what the fuck can be done? I always wanna poison my garbage, but I'm scared I'll get arrested or something once dead pussy starts turning up..

I can understand your frustration, but poisoning them is a nasty business. It would be best if you could make arrangements with Animal control to trap them and bring them in. I know they do that in some places.
.. in TX (or at least Williamson & Travis Counties.. the Austin area), Animal Control can't touch cats.. they're hands off.. I don't remember the exact reason, it was either because of the diseases they carry or because of the overwhelming volume of them.... PS, if anyone owns a cat, keep it indoors.. an outdoor cat is not a pet..
More than likely the volume. There are so many with no home.If the animals are a public nuisance, however, then you can call the poilice and find out what can legally be done about them.I have two indoor cats and one outdoor(he came with the house!). All are fixed, all have rabies shots and are kept healthy. It isn't just keeping them outside, it's keeping them outside and not fixing them!
